PLDT is rolling out free speed boost for Home Fibr subscribers
Two months ago, and still ongoing to this Q4 of 2019, PLDT is rolling out a free speed boost to select PLDT Home Fibr and DSL (DSL still need to be confirmed) subscribers. This speed boost is said to be another permanent speed upgrade from last year’s speed upgrade plan (sounds good diba mga geeks). But this time, the free speed boost implementation is gradual, as PLDT offers it to select subscribers for now and by batch.
According to a PLDT Home Fibr user, he received a notification and was informed that the speed boost will take effect within 24 hours.
The link in the said message brings you to a verification page, where you input your account number and see if you are eligible for a free speed boost upgrade.
The said user recommends that your mobile number and email address in PLDT myHome account are updated to receive the SMS or email from PLDT HOME. To check or update your records, just go to https://my.pldthome.com/ or download the MyPLDT Smart App via Google Play Store or Apple App Store.
Speed bumps will be as follows,
- Home Fibr Plan 6299 – 300Mbps from 250Mbps
- Home Fibr Plan 4299 – 150Mbps from 120Mbps
- Home Fibr Plan 2899 – 100Mbps from 100Mbps
- Home Fibr Plan 1899 – 30Mbps from 25Mbps
- Home Fibr Plan 1699 – 20Mbps from 15Mbps
- Home Fibr Plan 1299 – 10Mbps from 5Mbps
